Former Nigeria international, Yakubu Aiyegbeni has been signed for Sky Bet League One side Coventry for the remaining of this season.

Russell Slade who is Conventry manager had confirmed that the signing of the former Blackburn and Everton striker only if he could prove his fitness during training with the team.

The 34-year-old have played with Portsmouth and Middlesbrough making have Premiere League experience will stay at Coventry until May 2017 - with the club hoping to escape relegation because they are at the bottom of the league table.

Slade is happy that the club now have  an experience player;
